PrintJack o’lantern Halloween Snack Board
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: a party!
Description
Halloween snack board that looks like a Jack o’lantern. Fun, yummy and perfectly festive!
Ingredients
- black olives
- blackberries
- black grapes
- mini cucumber, sliced
- sharp cheddar cheese (cracker cuts from Trader Joe’s)
- orange bell pepper
- baby carrots
- cutie oranges
- dried mango
- cheese sticks (Trader Joe’s)
- chipotle almonds
- sweet potato crackers (TJs)
- orange/yellow grape tomatoes
- pumpkin spice pecans
- petite pumpkin spice cookies (TJs)
- cheez-its
- cheddar popcorn
- fall leaf tortilla chips (TJs)
Instructions
Start with a large circular wooden board. I use this one.
Make the eyes with the black olives. Stack 1, then 2, then 3 to make a triangle.
Make the nose with blackberries in the same way, 1, 2, 3 to make a small pyramid/triangle.
Shape small bundles of grapes into the smile.
Use the cheddar cheese slices to divide the face directly in half. On the right side of the face line up the bell pepper slices and baby carrots, then the grape tomatoes, then pecans, then pumpkin spice cookies and finally cheez-its.
On the left side of the face line up the cutie oranges and dried mango, then cheese sticks and almonds, then cheddar popcorn and the fall tortilla chips on the edge.
Arrange mini cucumber slices as the stem.
Serve dips like hummus, ranch or salsa on the side if desired!
Notes
Other orange snack ideas that you could sub in: dried apricot, golden oreos, dried orange slices, cheetos or cheese puffs, goldfish crackers, cantaloupe cubes, cheese sandwich crackers, fruit snacks
I am obsessed with this board from Sur La Table. I use it all the time!
